Alastair is an ancient mage of unknown origin, and his age is unknown. Has has close relations and is trusted by the Silverwood Elves, the Fae, and the throne of Pacifica. Alastair lives in large Manor House overlooking the town of Crosspointe.
Alastair had an apprentice, Aiden, and the two battled the Red Mage in Eden Valley. Their opponent was temporarily defeated, but Aiden was killed. Worried about the Red Mage's possible return, Alastair brought Aiden's double from Terra, Ajay, in order to train him for the fight as he was also a mageborn.
Unfortunately within minutes of bringing Ajay and Mikkel through the portal from Terra, a new portal opened and pulled Alastair through. For over a year Alastair remained under an enchantment of stasis, until the Red Mage was killed and Alastair's enchantment was broken. Unfortunately the long duration of the spell damaged Alastair's mind - he spent a time recovering at Silverwood, and thought he has now returned home he is still only a shadow of his former self.
