One day in the Silverwood market Mikkel reaches into his pouch of holding and pulls out some dwarven coins and other items of dwarven make. Ajay determines that there is another pouch linked to Mikkel's. The next day there are some sketches for a man's suit found inside from a tailor in Eden Valley.
The pair travels to the town of Camp Gatos where the tailor is located, and on questioning the tailor they learn that the sketches were for a suit for the town Magister, Joh J'Harney. They visit J'Harney, and it turns out the pouch belongs to his bearded dwarven lady, Tervisa. After some negotiation, they agree to giving them the second pouch in exchange for completing a task… ridding their town of a hill giant that had been plaguing them, destroying crops and taking children.
They agree, more for the children than for the pouch, and set off in search of the giant. The first night they are attacked by some dire wolves, dispatched much more easily than when they last encountered them at Santi's Village.
The next day they find a giant door in the mountains, which turns out to be the home of a group of giants, that are using human children as slave labor. Killing off the giant menace, they rescue the children, as well as a fair amount of treasure, and return to Camp Gatos to a heroes' welcome. Mike get his paired pouch from the Magister, and gives it to Ajay. As part of his booty, Ajay also takes the massive sword of the giant king as a trophy to hang in Willey House.
